Queensland University of Technology Business School Overview

QUT, Queensland University of Technology, offers both an MBA and an Executive MBA. QUT aims to create the next generation of leaders in industry, research and society.

There were 8,971 students attending the QUT Business School in 2015. 2016 statistics indicate there were just shy of 50,000 students enrolled (all programs), with 247,424 alumni.

QUT offers credit for prior learning for those who pass the application process. This includes credit for studies commenced at the university, another provider or credit derived from work experience.

Scholarships are available for future QUT MBA students. Scholarship eligibility is based on academic performance, and open to Australian, New Zealand or international students. Scholarship students will receive quarter, half or full tuition. Merit scholarships are awarded at either $500 or $1000 based on GMAT results.

Students will need to be applying for the Graduate School of Business for the first time, and be accepted into the MBA.

EMBA scholarship application is only open to Australian citizens, permanent residents or New Zealand citizens.

There are a number of conditions once you receive your scholarship including maintaining a GPA of 5.5 or above. Termination of scholarship can occur if you don’t maintain satisfactory study progress.

Currently, QUT offers a general MBA and an Executive MBA. The Executive MBA is only open for domestic students.
